The Scheduling Process and building of the Master Schedule are driven by student requests for courses. This is why it is so important to us that students and parents take time to look at the Planning Guide and ask questions of teachers, school counselors, or administrators during the course registration process.
February
The Course of Studies is available on our website. Students review their four-year plan and conference with their teachers regarding their recommendations for the following year. Core teachers officially recommend their students for the appropriate course progression on Infinite Campus.
March
Students review their course recommendations and enter course requests into Infinite Campus. Students who do not select electives by the deadline will have them selected by their counselor or administrator. A final decision must be made at this point for staffing and budget implications for the following year.
Following the course registration deadline, administration, curriculum leaders, and counselors review course request data and begin the process of determining the courses and sections that will run.
June
Students will receive confirmation of enrolled classes.
School counselors will make any changes in schedules to reflect any student failures and send information to parents about summer school options.
August
Full schedules will be available for students to view on Infinite Campus. School counselors are available a week before school starts to make schedule changes.
First Week of School
All students should review their schedule for accuracy and progression toward completion of graduation requirements. If there are any errors or changes that need to be made, counselors are available by appointment during the one-week add/drop period.
