Graduation Requirements

The RSU 14 Board of Directors has approved the following minimum requirements for graduation, which encompasses minimum graduation requirements specified by the state and described in relevant laws, rules, and regulations.

Students and families should review School Board Policy IKF Graduation Requirements annually before beginning your course selection. For other information, please access the Student Handbook and the Capstone Project information.

Graduation Requirements

Four Year Plan

School counselors meet with all first year students to develop a four-year plan. This document is for students to use as a guide to work towards completing their graduation requirements and planning for their future goals.

Recommended Course Pathways by Department

English

English I, English II, English III, English IV

Math

Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Math Choice; or

H. Geometry, H. Algebra II, H. Pre-Calculus, AP Calculus

Science

Earth & Space Science, Biology, Chemistry; or

H. Biology, H. Chemistry, H. Physics

Social Studies

Foundations of World History, Revolutionary Ideas, US History, Senior Personal Finance

Alternate credit options

Reference Policies: IHCDA - Additional Information

Students may earn graduation credits outside the regular school program, contingent upon evidence that applicable Learning Results content standards have been met. The means for a student obtaining additional credits toward a diploma may include experiences outside the regular programs of Windham High School. No credits may be awarded without prior approval of the Principal.
