Calculus Level 3 is essential for students who wish to pursue higher education courses in subjects such as medicine, advanced engineering, architecture, advanced sciences or mathematics. 

STS313 is a statistics focused course, which will help students to prepare for tertiary studies in subject areas such as nursing, social sciences, humanities and law. 

MAT313 offers 4 standards which are all asssessed internally during this school year. This is an ideal course of study for students who wish to extend and deepen their thinking about mathematics, but who may not wish to incorporate it into their studies beyond NCEA Level 3.
