Welcome to Year 9 Mathematics.

Curriculum

From 2026, Phase 4 of the new curriculum will be implemented in Mathematics at Year 9 and 10. 

Stationery

Please come equipped with a 1E5 exercise book, a clear file and a scientific calculator. We recommend Casio FX82AUII 2 or Casio 8200AU. While not required at year 9, students may also use a graphics calculator such as Casio FX9750GIII or FX9860GIII.

Term 1

At the beginning of Term 1, students will learn the routines of a Maths lesson at GHS, extend their knowledge in number structure and operations, and learn to use their scientific calculators to best effect.
