Juniors and seniors only.
Students can obtain information about registering for college courses, course titles, start dates, times and locations of college courses at the chosen college.
It is the student's responsibility to find out if their prospective college will accept the dual credit course. Greenville Tech uses the SCTRAC to determine which classes transfer to which South Carolina colleges. This can be a helpful resource in picking your classes.

Dual Credit Classes at WHHS

Students receive the numerical grade for the class that they earn (different from the letter grade transcribed to a number grade that the online classes or Greenville Tech campus classes award).

Class offerings may change from year to year depending on student interest. In the past, we have offered English 101, English 102, Marketing 101, Management 101, and Bio 112.
Cost for these WHHS dual credit classes is simply the cost for the Greenville Tech text book.

Q: Why do I have to take the Accuplacer test?
A: The purpose of the placement test is to ensure that each student is academically prepared to enter his or her chosen field of study. The placement test is not a pass/fail test.
Q: How do I take the Accuplacer test?
A: Look for announcements and sign ups for the Accuplacer test given at Wade Hampton throughout the school year. If you missed the test dates and/or want to take the test on your own time, you must see your school counselor for an admission ticket to take the test at Greenville Tech's McAllister Square campus. You do not need an appointment. Just bring the ticket, your photo ID, calculator, and social security number.
