All About Me

I teach physical education in grades kindergarten through fifth. These students learn many age appropriate skills. This is my 27th year teaching physical education for Greenville County Schools.

My favorite season is autumn. I love the mountains with the trees all brightly colored with their changing leaves. I like the cool crisp air and the smell of wood fires from the cabins or bonfires.

Being born in Pittsburgh and reared in Hershey, PA made me a Steelers' Fan . . . but just in case I have a second favorite---the Philadelphia Eagles! I have 4 sisters and 3 brothers---and 25 nieces and nephews! I love going home and seeing the green corn in Lancaster County, PA! It is so refreshing! I not only live in Amish Country, but also live just a mile from Hershey, PA---the chocolate capital of the world! :-)

Besides playing fantasy football with my family. I enjoy watching all sports especially football, tennis, gymnastics, swimming, World Cup soccer and volleyball. Keeping up with the news is also a favorite of mine! Also, I walk about 3 miles per day. Talking to family and friends and listening to music or books keep that time pleasurable.

Photography is something that gives me a creative outlet. My art work has been displayed on the walls of University Medical Associates in Greenville, SC. I have received the "Best of Show" award at the Elizabethtown Fair in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania! So exciting!!!!
