What is Chorus?

The Plain Elementary School Chorus is an auditioned group of 4th and 5th grade singers. We meet Wednesday and Thursday mornings before school from 7:05 to 7:40. We have at least two evening concerts, one in the winter and one in the spring.

Important Information

We are getting ready to start our chorus back up for the 2023-2024 school year! Any student who was accepted into chorus back at the end of last school year should receive a paper during the first week of school with important information, as well as a form that needs to be filled out and turned in to Miss Stevenson.

Rehearsals will start in September

Winter Concert-Monday, December 4th at 6:00 

Spring Concert-Monday, April 1st at 6:00

Audition Information

Any students who are new to Plain Elementary School for the 2023-2024 school year can still audition for chorus.

The audition song is the first verse of America (My Country, 'Tis of the Thee). The words are below and there is also a link to a recording in Quaver if you would like to practice with it!
