Missing, Lost, or Stolen Chromebooks

Mauldin High School's Chromebook Policy

Please note that students who leave Chromebook unattended are being negligent. It is the student’s responsibility to ensure the safety of their device at all times, much as they would with their wallet/purse or other valuable items.

Students should report missing or lost Chromebooks to E102 before school (8:00 am-8:45 am) or during C lunch. Students may fill out the lost Chromebook form beforehand to facilitate a quicker process.

Please note, students should continue checking with Ms. Holcombe at E102 before school or during C lunch to see if his/her Chromebook has been turned in.

Some students may be eligible for a replacement when the missing Chromebook has been taken in a documented case of theft (accompanied by a police report that the student and parent have filed in a timely manner.

Students who do not meet the eligibility for replacement will need to pay the Chromebook replacement cost ($286) and, if applicable, the cost of the Chromebook charger ($31.00).
