Chromebook Repairs

The Difference Between a Repair and an Issue

Many issues with Chromebooks failing to work properly can be resolved with a few troubleshooting steps. Beyond obvious repair issues, such as a cracked screen, students are asked to follow these steps outlined in the troubleshooting guide before submitting a repair request form.

If the troubleshooting steps have been followed and the Chromebook issue is still not resolved, students are asked see Ms. Holcombe in Room E102.

After the repair form is submitted and the Chromebook turned in for repair, students will be provided with a different Chromebook to use from the point on.

Though students are expected to first attempt the basic troubleshooting suggestions, they should never attempt any repairs themselves or to obtain a repair through a third party.

Students who have paid their technology fee will be eligible for coverage of one cracked screen repair with no charge.
