Supply list for Ms. Huff’s 1st Grade class
1 book bag big enough to hold a book and folder and a rolled up coat in the winter
No rolling book bags please
Labeled items:
· 1 pencil box to hold items, a cigar box style
1 pair of blunt scissors
· 4 boxes of 24 count crayons (I will give the students a new box each 9 weeks.)
· headphones (the ear buds do not work well)
· Glue sticks either large or small is fine (2 or 4)
2 Rectangular pink erasers
· 24 SHARPENED pencils (no 2)
{leave the cute ones at home for homework, they don’t work in the pencil sharpener}
· 1 box of Kleenex
Along with the above lists, there are some other items that can help the classroom. You don’t need to bring all of these but if you can send in something it really helps out.
We use Lysol wipes to clean the desks. If you can send in a container please do so.
Snack donations are always welcomed in our class. If your child has a food allergy, please let me know.
Types of snacks that you can bring for the whole class:
Individually wrapped snacks for the afternoon, finger cereals, cookies, gummy fruit snacks, freeze pops,Ritz crackers, etc...
No need to send drink, they may have their water bottle.
We always could use 3 oz or 5 oz cups. ( I can pour snacks in them to pass out while gloved)
gallon and/or quart freezer bags
