I discuss with the students each day ways to be respectful and responsible 1st graders. I also use the words: Your task is... and have them repeat the task so they know what I expect for the task.
Classroom Rules
Cooperate with the teachers and students.
Use whole body listening for instructions.
Keep your body to yourself.
Work in the classroom using an inside voice.
If at any time a student has a change in the way they go home from school, please send a note or call the office.
I do not mind if students bring a water bottle. It can not be glass and is supposed to only contain water. No juice or soda. Gatorade also leaves sticky stains if dropped or spilled. Since students will now have chrome books in their backpack, water bottles must be closed and secure.
