Digital Readiness Check (DRC) – will be on -- REQUIRED
You will be assigned a time to report to the Media Center for the Digital Readiness Check. This is MANDATORY to attend as you will not be permitted to test unless you have completed these steps! This will take place on September 25, 2026 in the Media Center.
The DRC session will take 30 minutes and I will guide you through:
Testing your device
Bring your charged school-issued chromebook (no personal laptops/devices permitted).
School chromebooks will be provided for non-enrolled students.
Signing in to Bluebook (the PSAT exam app)
Completing the PSAT exam setup process
Students will need an active email address to set up the exam. I recommend not using your school email because you may want to access your College Board account after you graduate.
Students will answer questions to determine their eligibility to enter the National Merit Scholarship Program. These questions are not optional.
In addition, students will be invited to respond to a series of questions about themselves. These questions are optional. These questions allow students to opt in with Connections, a free program that connects them with colleges and scholarship programs.
Students can provide a cell phone number if they wish to receive messages from College Board, including accessing their scores through the BigFuture School app. This is optional.
Take a test preview
This is a short series of practice test questions to help students learn how to navigate in Bluebook.
Students can access a full-length practice test during this session, and then see their score. This is optional. College Board recommends allowing 3 hours to take the practice test. Students will complete the practice test at home.
