The End-of-Course Examination Program (EOCEP) is a statewide assessment program of end-of-course tests for courses awarded units of credit in: Algebra 1, Biology 1, English 2, and United States History and the Constitution.
EOCEP examination scores account for 20% in the calculation of the student's final grade in these courses.
The EOCEP tests are aligned to the South Carolina academic standards, which can be found at https://ed.sc.gov/tests/high/eocep/.
The South Carolina State Department of Education (SCSDE) provides state-level assessment information (including EOC) for parents on its website. To request this information in an alternate format or in a language other than English, click here to access the SCSDE request form.)
The EOCEP is given in December for 1st Semester courses and in May for 2nd Semester courses. Please contact your child's teacher if you have any questions or concerns.
