The ASVAB, or Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery, is a multiple-choice test used by the United States Armed Forces to assess the qualifications of applicants seeking to enlist. It measures developed abilities and helps predict future academic and occupational success within the military.
Juniors and seniors considering working in any United States military branch should take the ASVAB. Students seeking a way to obtain CCR certification can take the ASVAB and a score of 31 or higher will give them CCR certification.
This year the ASVAB will be offered 2-3 times at Blue Ridge High. Scores take 7-10 days to come back and Coach Langley will have a hard copy for each student to pickup from his office in the front.
