My name is Jessica Long and I am so excited to be entering my 23rd year as a teacher- time flies when you're having fun! My husband, Andy, and I have been married for 19 years and have 3 awesome and energetic boys- Noah (a Blue Ridge High School 11th grader), Aidan (a 10th grader at Blue Ridge High), and Asher (our surprise boy who will be 3 in December). We love spending time together on the soccer field, playing games (Disc Golf is our newest outdoor craze), camping, fishing, hiking, playing games, and traveling.

I was born and raised in northern Greenville County. I have a Bachelors Degree from North Greenville University and a Masters Degree in Elementary Education from Gardner-Webb University. I spent my first 11 years teaching in NC, where I met and married by husband, before moving back to my hometown 11 years ago. I loved the beautiful NC mountains but have really enjoyed being back home in SC as well!

This will be my eighth year teaching at Woodland. This is where my teaching career was launched as I completed my student teaching in the Spring of 2003 under the mentorship of Mrs. Linder. Being able to come full circle and once again invest in the Woodland community has been a remarkable part of my journey.

I look forward to teaming with you this year to help your child reach their potential. I believe in setting big goals and working hard to achieve them. I also know that relationships are key to success. So, welcome to the Long Classroom Family!
