My name is Marsha Linder and I am excited to be your child's teacher this year. This is my 31st year of teaching, 24 of those years have been here at Woodland Elementary.  I've had the pleasure of teaching 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade.  I am so glad I chose to be a teacher.  It thrills me to watch students grow each year and I am very proud of the role I play in helping their development.

I attended Lander University where I received my bachelor's and master's degree in Elementary Education.  I was honored to be chosen as Woodland Elementary's teacher of the year in 2009.  

I have been married to my husband, Marlon, for 26 years now.  I have a stepson, Brandon who is 37 years old and a daughter, Marlyssa who is 24 years old.  After graduating from the University of South Carolina (Columbia) , she is now a 3rd grade teacher in Lexington County, SC. In my free time, I love cooking, reading, and exercising.  My husband and I are blessed with one grandson, Micah who is 3 years old.  He is such a joy to us.  Our family time is spent watching the Dallas Cowboys, fishing, and hanging out in our backyard.
