NEW Beck Mural with SmartARTS  

“Beck is UNITY in our community”

Students in Mrs. Steller Grey’s 8th, 7th, and Adaptive Art classes collaborated together to create a NEW school mural at Beck! The process began with the discussion of “What is Unity?” Students conversed their opinions and then drew symbolic images that fit their created word bank. From there, Mr. Adam scanned their sketches and collaged the final image that would become our mural. It was projected and drawn by students on Monday and all week students have worked in small groups to paint, paint, paint!

This mural was student-centered and student-made. We couldn’t be more proud!
