Life, Art, and Poetry

A special THANK YOU to the Metropolitan Arts Council and SmartARTS for allowing Mr. Dove to come to Miss Steller’s 7^th grade classes this year. Students learned how to integrate Poetry and the Visual Arts by writing a poem on Identity and then creating an artwork that illustrates their words. Students learned about poetry, literary devices, and how to be a strong public speaker so that they could confidently perform their poem to the class.
