Welcome to Ms. Frierson's first grade class. 

My name is Suzanne Frierson. I'm originally from Columbia, S.C. This is my 8th year of teaching. I started my teaching career in Richland 2, which is located in Columbia S.C.  I've had experience subbing for each grade as well as related arts. I also have experience teaching 1st grade. This is my second year at Woodland Elementary. I graduated from Francis Marion University with a bachelor's degree in Early childhood education. I love spending time with my family, going to the beach, and trying different types of foods. 

First grade is an exciting time as children embark upon new adventures in the world of learning. I'm looking forward to a very exciting and productive year at Woodland. I will strive each day to make learning a fun and enriching process!
