About Mrs. Ackerman

Welcome to First Grade! I look forward to getting to know you better this school year. I grew up in Greenville and attended Greenville County Public Schools. I earned a BA in Early Childhood Education at the University of South Carolina in Spartanburg and my Masters in Elementary Education at Converse College.

I have had the opportunity to teach kindergarten, first and second grades.  

Some of my favorite things:

Restaurants: Lewis Barbecue and Tokyo Cafe

Foods: sushi, chocolate chip cookies, and dark chocolate

Shopping:  TJ Maxx, Marshalls, and Trader Joes
