Grants Pass High School Student Digital Newspaper - The June 2025 Issue
Silence has fallen over the hallways, with the departure of the GPHS senior class of '25. As underclassmen mourn their fallen friends, they look on in awe as the school year comes to an end. By the time this is posted, there will be less than a week of school left. For those of you whose parents strongly encourage employment over the summer, Grants Pass is offering a position on their Summer Temporary Help team and offers $14.70 an hour to do various degrees of general maintenance.
If you want to give a proper goodbye to The Scroll seniors, then check out "Goodbye, Scroll Seniors". The Scroll gives a giant round of applause to the PAC this school year. Band, Choir, Orchestra, and Theatre all made it to state this year! Check out the senior writer's last articles: "Kenergy: Final Boss" by Tessa Hager, Averie Black's Creative Corner, and Peter Easterwood's "Consumerism for the Win."
With the newfound time on your hands, take a look at some of the events happening in Grants Pass. Barnstormers is performing 9-5 The Musical from May 22 to June 15. Speaking of theater, SOU Theatre is presenting Blood Wedding on June 1. The First Friday Stroll, hosted by Grants Pass Historical Society, is on (you guessed it) the first Friday of the month, June 6. The Frog O' Faire is coming to town on June 7 at Riverside Park. Have a great summer!
