Grants Pass High School Student Digital Newspaper - The January 2025 Issue
Hello and welcome to the first Scroll issue of 2025! January is a quiet month at the school and in town. Finals are coming in hot, as the first semester ends on Jan. 16. Get excited for a four-day weekend following the end of first semester, at least for students. Sports are continuing as usual and there are not many activities happening out of the blue.
Grants Pass recognizes how quiet January is and, to make up for that, the Weekend Brew Company (locally known as the Weekend Brewery) is hosting a Pancake Pop-Up on Jan 11. Open for the family, pancakes are being served from eight in the morning to noon.
For the inquisitive folks out there, make sure to check out our brand-new philosophy column! This month, it contains an article from Audrey Roetling called "What is Truth?", and from Willow Ransom, "Aspasia". Follow up this thought-provoking column with our psychology column. This month, Angie Dixon reveals the "Psychology of Cat Memes". To see all of this applied in our world, continue with a look at our politics and pop culture columns.
Happy reading and...
