In the January issue of The Scroll, we asked Scroll readers how they feel about the new year, their New Year's resolution, their favorite activities in Grants Pass, Oregon, and how they felt about the Winter Ball. Now, it's time to see the results.
This poll consists of data from 24 participants who answered our January Poll and data from those who answered our Instagram Poll.
A majority of our participants are excited about the new year. The majority of those who participated in our Instagram poll actually disagree, though, and are terrified of the new year.
Almost all of our participants voted that they wanted to make some sort of improvement to their lives, such as meeting new people, reading The Bible more, reading more books, getting more exercise, and improving their grades.
A majority of our participants voted that they like to go to The Bear Hotel or ride the Hellgate Jetboats. Other participants suggested Boatnik, going to church, hiking, and going to Dutch Bros.
A majority of our participants did not attend the Winter Ball. However, between the poll we did on The Scroll and the Instagram poll, by two votes, it was determined that the Winter Ball could have been better.
We asked our participants about their favorite or least favorite parts of the Winter Ball. Participants said that they loved the music this time around. Many agreed that the addition of a DJ was a fantastic improvement. Some of our participants commented that they liked the decorations. One of our participants suggested that music requests should have been taken and that they would have liked to see more decor.
