Hello! This week we are going to be making a mobile inspired by our Earth and nature. We are so lucky to live on this amazing planet. Think of the natural things that exist here because this week we are going to make art the celebrates their beauty and show that we are so grateful we get to expereince them. Follow the steps below to learn more!
Supplies:
Paper
crayons, colored pencils, or markers
String, yarn, or embroidery floss
A long stick or wire hanger
tape or a hole punch
Scissors
- Draw 3 to 5 items you LOVE about the Earth
You can draw the earth, mountains, flowers, water, the ocean, clouds, and animlas. Anything that exists on the earth and represents nature.

After you draw and color your favorite things about the earth cut them out.

Then string the yarn through the hole and tie a double knot.

Find a stick outside

If you use a stick you will need to tie a long piece of string to both ends of your stick. This will allow your mobile to hang later.
Next tie your drawings to either your stick or your hanger.

You can tie them at different lenghts so they fall at different heights. This will allow you to be able to see them better.
When your finished you can hang your beautiful mobile in your room or in shared part of your house. Have fun!
