We are excited to invite you to join the Transform Math Class Leadership Collaborative! This experience is designed specifically for all Utah Education Leaders supporting mathematics education in grades 3 - 8 with an emphasis on elevating success for students with disabilities.
Designed to build coaching skills, develop assets, increase networking opportunities

We would love for you to join us for a series of monthly webinars designed for teachers of students in grades 3-8 who are interested in helping all students thrive in math. The webinars will be led by state and national leaders in the field of mathematics and special education.

USBE Math Book Studies
The following Book Studies are available through USBE to earn up to 1.0 USBE Credit Hours. Book Studies are self-paced with the expectation that work will be completed by August 21, 2026. Book Study resources are typically sent in an email on the Monday following registration. USBE Credit Hours are awarded (entered into MIDAS) within 30 days after completion of the course. Completing 1.0 USBE Credit Hours should demonstrate 18 hours of learning. If you have any questions about Book Studies, please contact Mike, Melissa, Molly, or Alicia.

USBE Incentives
USBE has funding to use to incentivize educators across the state to achieve endorsements in the STEM subjects. Check out this link to see which endorsements may offer reimbursement and to answer further questions.
Elementary courses can be reimbursed up to $500.
Up to 12 credits of the elementary math endorsement can be applied toward a M.Ed program.

Elementary Mathematics Endorsement
We have opened registration for the SEDC/UVU Elementary Math Endorsement Fall 2025 course - EDUC 5520: Algebraic Reasoning. Teachers do not have to start with the first course, they may join the current cohort at the beginning of any course.
Date: Starting August 25 at 4:00 p.m.

We have opened registration for the SEDC/UVU Elementary Math Specialist Endorsement Fall 2025 course - EDUC 5560: Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment for Elementary Mathematics Leaders.

Prerequisite: Must have Elementary Mathematics Endorsement
