Vehicles 

• You are not allowed to impound any illegal vehicle.

• Do not impound:

  • A vehicle involved in a crime (ask the police first)

  • Government vehicles unless they are clearly abandoned

  • Vehicles involved in red or blue zones

  • Any vehicle involved in an active situation

• You are only allowed to clamp if:

  • The vehicle is illegally parked

  • The vehicle is not in a dangerous position such as in the middle of the road

  • The vehicle is not a government, illegal, aviation or special vehicle

• You should always store your vehicle when logging off.

• Never give out HATO vehicles to anyone outside the faction.

• You are not to use any other vehicles than HATO.

Impounding

• All vehicles require a verbal call out.

  • For example: Hello this is Highways Agency [NAME], could the owner of this black SUV make themselves known or else your vehicle will be impounded.

  • Make every attempt to see if the owner is nearby. Simply making a call out and impounding a vehicle instantly is not enough.

• Additionally to a verbal call out, trucks, aviation and water vehicles will require you to message the owner before impounding to ensure that the vehicle is not in use.
