GRAND THEFT ARMA
In April 2004, the Highways Agency began working alongside the police on motorways in the West Midlands. The roll out of traffic officers was completed on the 18th of July 2006 and they now cover all of the motorway network within England. Due to the Highway Agency’s success their organisation was sent to Altis (Greece) to try and deal with the congested carriageways and bad traffic management. Though working alongside the Police the Highways Agency is still neutral to all groups in Altis.
Their duties on Altis primarily involve assisting citizens by responding promptly to vehicle-related incidents and breakdown dispatches across the island. Traffic officers are responsible for keeping major highways and key routes clear by managing traffic flow, setting up safe diversion routes, and ensuring that accidents or stranded vehicles are dealt with efficiently. They also play a crucial role in clearing obstacles such as debris, abandoned vehicles, or hazards that may pose a risk to drivers, helping to maintain safe and continuous travel. Through these efforts, the Highways Agency supports both public safety and the overall efficiency of Altis’s road network.
Despite operating in a region with multiple factions, including police forces and rebel groups, the Highways Agency maintains a strictly neutral stance and does not favor any side, including the NHS. However, it has a long-standing history of cooperation with NHS services, regularly coordinating to help facilitate the safe and efficient movement of ambulances and other emergency vehicles during medical incidents, while still upholding its impartial role across all operations.
Keeping the general public in the loop and involving them in our processes is very important to us. We currently provide the following tools and sources of information to everyone:
