Ms. Mulcahy grew up on Long Island, New York and graduated from Franklin Pierce University in Rindge, New Hampshire. She earned degrees in Education and English, with a Certificate of Women in Leadership. This will be her second year teaching fifth grade. She enjoys reading, writing, and traveling to visit her friends.
I loved being able to get to know all of the very unique and different personalities of the students and watch them grow into their roles as fifth graders at GMS. They are so funny, creative, and empathetic and were able to surprise me every single day!
When we read the book Hatchet by Gary Paulson as a small group "Book Club" for Enrichment Skills, some students had never read the book before so those of us that had were able to share a very fun book with them. Then, the students decided to build a paper model of the bush plane that Brian flies on and even made dioramas of Brian's habitat!
