Ms. DiGiovanni will be going into her 5th year of teaching at GMS. She has a Bachelors of Science in Environmental Health Science, and Literature from Salisbury University and also has her Masters in Education from American International College. She loves teaching and sees students grow from the beginning to the end of the year. Ms. D also enjoys spending time with her family, biking, hiking, birding and listening to music.

What do I love most about teaching 5th Grade?
Well, of course I enjoy seeing my students make positive progress and overcome challenges they are given. Some of the best moments are when my students tell me that they did not think they could write an essay or understand a text, when really, they can! Yes, it takes time, but that's why we have 180 days together!
What is my favorite memory from last year?
What is my favorite memory from last year?
Last year, I assigned my students a take home project to create their own world. The amount of creativity and time that went into the projects were so great. I was excited to have connected a story to a project that students could personalize.
