We will be departing the Phys. Plant at noon on Tuesday (11/21) to travel to Merry Lea and arriving at the Farmstead Barn Gathering Room. After a 1/2 hour orientation to oak woodlands and savannas, we will travel to Luckey's Landing where we will investigate the composition and structure of restored oak woodlands and black oak savannas, and the process for doing so. We will then travel to the Edwards tract and visit an oak woodland that is currently in the restoration process.
