Google Genius

Time to remind yourself of all the skills you need to use your Chromebook not just in CS, but in other subjects. You may well find yourself in the learning pit - have a go and work it out! Your task is to do the following (this is an assignment in Google Classrooms):

• Open the google doc. Can you voice dictate a short sentence?

• Can you insert a picture of your favourite animal?

• Can you insert a hyperlink to another website?

• Can you change the font and size of your work so far?

• Can you get Helperbird to read your sentence?

• Can you share your document with a friend so you can work collaboratively?

Now go to the Google Slide...can you do the following:

• Insert a selfie of your pencil case

• Can you EMBED a video from YouTube (not a hyperlink!)?

• Can you EMBED a voice note from Vocaroo (not a hyperlink!)?

• Can you share your document so you can work collaboratively?

Now can you...

• Created folders in your G-Drive for each of your subjects

• Move the files you have worked on today to your CS folder you just created

Now you are a Google Genius and an official GCMS CS Instructor! Go and help others out of the pit!
