Description: In this workshop, we will explore strategies for effective teaching in a remote classroom scenario. Teaching remotely is a new concept for many educators that they have had to quickly adapt to as a result of Covid-19. However, school will not be going back to "normal" anytime soon. Teaching core curriculum content virtually, building classroom community, creating an inclusive virtual classroom, and connecting with students can all be done with the right strategies.

Description: This workshop strives to answer the question "how do educators create strong and authentic relationships with families and create effective engagement opportunities online?" As parents/caregivers take on the role of part time homeschool teacher, tutors, counselors etc at home it is vital that educators are able to effectively communicate and engage parents in the educational process of their children. This workshop will explore how best educators can use technology to connect with, engage, collaborate and communicate with parents in a consistent and meaningful way.
