Zach Husband is a writer, educator, and parent from central Vermont, and he’s just trying to do the best he can. Goddard is a place and series of experiences that he’ll treasure forever.
In my final product, Merging Passion and Practice, I explore the ways in which my passion for writing and education intersect in my practice, and the ways in which I reflect and reflect upon race, education, and community. During this presentation, I will discuss the experience of writing a comedic novel while working in schools during the COVID-19 pandemic, and on the ways in which my own experiences have been inextricably linked to identity and privilege.
