Greetings and welcome to The Fashion Department at PCC My name is Dr. Hollie Luttrell. I believe that students can used their personal experiences of success in seemingly unrelated areas to build new knowledge and skills. I believe that when students perceive improvement, and increased ability to do something better, their confidence begins to build. My role is to help all my students improve their learning and increase their cognitive stamina. My online & face-to-face courses are designed to strengthen learning muscles so they can process content and produce data-driven conclusions. Personal feedback, is used to re-frame experiences as a source of information to help students in their journey to make adjustments and to reach goals. I believe the educational system has conditioned students to be scared of mistakes because they think it says something about their intelligence. As a result, students may not push for the next level of mastery. Therefore my presence, feedback and communication focus on strategies for students to level up mastery.
