Baby Magnolia and mom, Stephanie, started coming to visit us at Central Spryfield in October 2019, and we have LOVED watching her grow, learn and develop every month.

She has taught us: about what babies need to grow healthy and strong; about empathy by imagining how she must feel and responding appropriately; about respect - being mindful of our words and actions and most importantly, about LOVE! π

video1.movBaby Magnolia (Maggie) is getting around independently on her belly. She loves to walk with her walker or with help from Mommy and Daddy. She can clap and wave, and she loves music, books and bath time. She got her bottom two teeth and can say "Dada" and "Nana." She can kind of say, "Mama," but only with her tongue sticking out, which she seems to think is pretty funny βΊοΈ.

maggie8.movWe had some questions for Baby Magnolia and her mommy this month, so please see the answers below βΊοΈ:
- Does she like books? She loves books, especially turning the pages. She also loves touch and feel and lift the flaptype of books.
- Does she like peas? She likes peas but they get everywhere!
- Does she like Spring? She likes spending time outside now that it is Spring. Her daddy put a swing up in the yard, so she plays on that, but she also loves playing in the grass and going for walks in the carrier in the sunshine.
- How much does she weigh? She's 18 pounds now!
- How much does she sleep during the day? She takes 2 naps during the day, and sleeps for 1-2 hours each time.
- What is her favourite toy? We like to switch up her toys, but she always likes balls and cars.
- What does she like to eat now? She'll eat almost anything now, but she loooooves berries, bread, cheese pizza and yogurt. She likes to say "Mmmmmmm" now when she's eating things she really likes.
