Baby Derek and mom, Susan, started coming to visit us at Chebucto Heights in November 2019, and we have LOVED watching him grow, learn and develop every month.

He has taught us: about what babies need to grow healthy and strong; about empathy by imagining how he must feel and responding appropriately; about respect - being mindful of our words and actions and most importantly, about LOVE! 💕

April Update:

Baby Derek is now 8 months old! He loves to play with his toys, and to give them a good chew with his 4 teeth! He loves bath time, Spider Man, and music - he especially loves when Mommy sings our ROE welcome song. He is trying all kinds of new foods, and enjoys drinking from his sippy cup. He tries to stand up with Mommy and Daddy's help, and he is not a fan of tummy time ☺️.
