The Neuberger at Purchase
At the Neuberger Museum of Art, we got to see and make art. From sketching in the galleries with Calder, Pollack and Willem de Kooning to creating collage and discussing the art of Romare Bearden. Students and docents talked about what shaped the art they saw and the meanings behind the works.
At the DIA in Beacon, students experienced and interacted with unparalleled sculptural works by world renowned current artists like Richard Serra and Michael Heizer.
