HHS Volleyball Faculty Advisor

This is my 11th year to work alongside Coach Becky Pendleton as the Faculty Advisor to the HHS Volleyball Program. Year after year, HHS Volleyball garners regional and district awards, as well as qualifies for the TSSAA State Volleyball Tournament. Off the court, our student-athletes excel academically. The USMC and the American Volleyball Coaches Association granted HHS Volleyball the Team Academic Award for achieving an average GPA of 3.87. The stellar reputation of our program was further elevated when Coach Pendleton received the A. F. Bridges Sportsmanship Award “in recognition for displaying the high ideals of integrity and ethics and for examples of citizenship and sportsmanship.” Every year, several of our players receive scholarships to play volleyball in college as a result of Coach Becky's efforts. It is my great honor to help our student-athletes excel in every area of their pursuits here at Houston High, and those in the future.
