Mrs. Denise Fisher is Houston High School's Counseling Intervention Specialist. This is her 8th year of professional service. Mrs. Fisher is a graduate of the University of Mississippi where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Social Work. She also holds a Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Tennessee - Knoxville. As a licensed school social worker, Mrs. Fisher has over 20 years of experience in the social/mental health profession.
Mrs. Fisher serves in a variety of roles at Houston High. She is the club sponsor for Beautifully Unique. Her role with The Pointe is to provide weekly group sessions with our students. Students also meet with Mrs. Fisher individually as needed regarding any social and emotional challenges they may be experiencing.Â
