This is Me
Year 3's first Unit of Inquiry was “Who We Are”. The Central Idea is “An evolving sense of self enhances the ability to resolve conflict”. Students explored who they are by identifying their learning styles (visual, kinesthetic, or audio) and their multiple intelligences (nature, logic, words, interpersonal, intrapersonal, music). Moreover, they also learned to recognise their strengths and weaknesses. Students collected all the information about themselves and then drew a template of their own image and put all their information within the template.

For example, when we have conflict within ourselves, others or nature. Four, it can show our physical, social emotional and intelligence growth and development
Year 3 Culmination Activity
After various learning engagements for six weeks, students demonstrated their skills, knowledge and effectiveness by presenting various performances. The RAFTS are as follows:
R = Role: Students accept a role in the conflict (a counsellor, an arbitrator, an actress, an author, a judge, a teacher)
A = Audience: Teachers and Peers.
F = Format of presentation: song lyrics, poem, ppt, video, role-play, comic, a story, poster.
T = Topic : Conflict resolution.
S = Strong verbs: Using the proper vocabulary to resolve conflicts, such as conflict resolution and it creates emotion in us (conflict, resolution, emotion)
Since the first Unit of Inquiry, students have tried their best to apply their Approaches to Learning skills (ATLs) and Learner Profile Attributes within their culminating activity project. They learn to be more independent, develop their caring nature, be open-minded, communicators, be respectful to others and managing time and tasks effectively. They created a conflict story and then solved it by using several strategies/solutions.

4. Go to another activity.
5. Rock, paper, scissors, go.
