Their work helped create a meaningful event that celebrated our national identity.
On Tuesday, September 22, 2026, Primary students celebrated the Blue Sky Day. The Primary students wore blue on that day to encourage the Blue Sky Day event. Students donate 30,000 IDR or more to support The Green School Committee’s environmental initiatives. In this event, Primary students participated in a kite-flying activity on the soccer field.
Primary students were provided with their own kites, which they can decorate. Each participating student will receive a kite and some strings. Students will explore the sky, air quality, and the question “Is the sky actually blue?”, and how air pollution can affect the air around us.
On Friday, September 25, 2026, the Year 5s did an assembly. It was about inventions /innovations. We were divided into 4 groups to make our very own skits. We worked really hard to discuss the blocking, arrangement, and organization of the whole assembly. It was a team effort, and it helped us to work together and make a script almost without any help.
Before this assembly, we already had an idea of what quality of life was. Then, we had to apply it in our skit. It was really hard to work in big groups, but we overcame it, and we showcased teamwork to make this happen. On the assembly day, we did very well, because all of us cooperated together and did our own parts responsibly. This assembly was very fun, and we would like to do it again! It was the best achievement, and it improved how we work together!!
