Once you have started applying for places in 6th Forms and Colleges you will at some point be called for an interview. This may be a one-to-one interview with a member of staff or in a group/meet the tutor interview.
Here is an example of some of the types of questions you may be asked:
· What do you know about the subject you are applying to study?
· Why are you interested in this subject?
· Why do you want to attend this school/college in particular?
· What are your future career plans?
· Are you involved in any school clubs or activities?
· What do you like to do in your spare time?
· Have you done any work experience/volunteering?
· What are your strengths?
· Do you have any questions?
Do make sure you are prepared for your interview. Check the timings, travel plans to make sure you arrive on time and bring any documentation they may have asked for. If you have any questions do write them down and take them with you to ask.
