National careers Week (NCW) is an annual celebration aimed at supporting students in developing awareness and excitement about their future careers. The 2026 theme is ‘Own Your Own Future’ encouraging students to explore opportunities and take ownership of their career paths.
Tens of thousands of students across the country took part in National Careers Week last year, having an opportunity to access the Virtual Careers Fair that took place.
There is an opportunity for you to take part in this year’s fair with many exhibitors for you to look at and investigate.
The Virtual Careers Fair will go live on day 1 of Careers Week.

Countdown - NCW 2026 Virtual Careers Fair - 2 - 7 March 2026
From finance to nursing, law to creative arts, and engineering to teaching the Subject Discovery Fair is a great opportunity to find out all about studying at university and get all your questions answered by the experts. Join universities from across the UK to speak to their representatives via Q&A and attend live sessions to get an insight into the exciting subjects you could be studying!
Over the course of two hours, students can attend mini lectures on a range of subjects and meet 32 universities from across the UK including Kings College London, Manchester Metropolitan, and the University of Aberdeen.
The fair is free to all students and ideal for Y10-12.
