National Technical Honor Society (NTHS), is an Honor Society that is offered at Eastland-Fairfield. Since the Gahanna Bioscience Program is a satellite program associated with Eastland-Fairfield, students are eligible to join. NTHS offers the best of what Bioscience is about. Students who are accepted excel both in and out of the classroom and show integrity, merit, leadership, courage, and a myriad of other quality characteristics.
Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, the induction ceremony had to be virtual for the 2020-21 school year. However, that did not stop students, parents, and teachers from celebrating. The ceremony was held over a video call, but, it still allowed everyone to connect and honor each other. To the left is the presentation that was given during this ceremony.
This year's inductees are shown below. The picture to the left shows the Juniors from the AM class and the picture to the right shows Juniors from the PM class. Congratulations to all who got accepted!
Toy Drive
During a week in December the member of National Technical Honor Society in the Eastland-Fairfield Satellite Programs at Clark Hall organized a Toy Drive. This toy drive was spearheaded by two members of our Bioscience class, Fallon Keeton and Edna Boadi. The goal of this drive was to collect a variety of toys and donate them to children who are in need, in the name of spreading holiday cheer. Our programs worked with closely with Columbus Firefighters who are members of the, "FireFigthers 4 Kids," organization. This organization aims provide children ages 0-12 with toys, especially during the winter season.
