This week's Mini Spark is short and sweet — perfect for a holiday week — but packed with fun, wonder, and a few exciting things on the horizon.

Whether you’re celebrating at home, on the road, or watching fireworks in the park, this week’s activities are designed to remind us what makes summer special — and what makes each of us uniquely awesome!

🎆 Spark of Curiosity: Fireworks & Fun Facts

Did you know…
🎇 The first fireworks were invented over 2,000 years ago in China — by accident!
🎆 Red fireworks are the hottest in temperature.
🎇 The U.S. imported over 250 million pounds of fireworks last year — mostly for July 4 celebrations!

Challenge your kids to find one cool fact about America’s history, a symbol (flag, eagle, liberty bell), or an important person — and share it with someone this week.

What would your child’s own flag look like?
Have them draw a flag that represents their favorite things, colors, or values. Stars and stripes are optional — imagination is required! 🌟✏️

💛 Kindness Challenge: Independence = Helping Others

Remind your child that being independent also means being responsible for others.
This week, try:
✔ Holding the door
✔ Helping with a family chore
✔ Picking up trash at the park
✔ Making a card for someone who works over the holiday
