Why Room Parents?
Why Room Parents?
Room Parents are the pride of our Lion family! 🦁 They help teachers, families, and the PTA stay connected.
Great if you like organizing or just want to be “in the know.”
Most work can be done virtually — attending in person is optional.
Two Room Parents per class, so you’ll always have a buddy.
✨ Fun fact: No craft-skills required — Pinterest fails welcome! 🎉
How You Can Help???

💛 Be a Room Parent – coordinate with the teacher & PTA, share info with parents, and help organize class events.
💛 Be a Party Helper – sign up for a one-day role (snacks, crafts, games, or photos).

👉 Some teachers still have Room Parent spots open — please help us fill these first!
Room Parent Duties (at a glance):
Communicate with the teacher & PTA (guidance provided).
Help share volunteer signups for class needs.
Optional: attend or lead party activities.
Share updates with families (we’ll give you templates).
⌛ Time Commitment: Usually less than an hour per event.
📌 Can’t come in person? That’s okay — everything can be done online.
Party Helpers can:
Bring in a snack (🍪 snack duty = because cookies make everything better!)
Lead a game or craft
Capture memories 📸 (Your one photo might be the yearbook favorite!)
Assist with setup/cleanup

Do I have to attend every party? Nope! Just the ones you can.
Can two parents sign up together? Yes — we encourage it!
