The Greathouse-Shryock PTA proudly presents Roar & Raise, a two-week schoolwide celebration of teamwork, kindness, and community spirit. 100% of funds raised stay right here at our school to support student programs, classroom needs, and memorable events all year long.
When you give, you help fund:
🏫 School Improvements & Beautification — making our campus bright, welcoming, and fun to learn in.
🎨 Cultural Arts & Enrichment — bringing creativity and new experiences to every classroom.
📚 Academic Programs — including Spelling Bee, Field Day, Talent Show, and Red Ribbon Week.

Here’s how it works:
Set a Goal 🏁
Each class will have a shared goal to help our school reach the overall target of $30,000.
Students can collect donations from family, friends, or community supporters.
Donate Online or Send in Cash/Check 💳💵
We’ve made giving simple!
Donate directly through our secure link on Zeffy (no fees to the PTA!).
Or send donations in the provided envelope to your child’s teacher.
Watch the Roar Rise! 📈
We’ll update progress daily on our school leaderboard and social media — you’ll see our Lion climb higher as we hit milestones!

The fundraiser wraps up with our Fall Festival on October 24, featuring games, pizza, and fun surprises for all GH Lions and families.

ROAR & RAISE EVENTS
To celebrate our Roar & Raise Fundraiser, all grades will get to participate in fun outdoor activities during school hours on Friday, October 24, 2025. Parents are invited to come see their students during their celebration. See the schedule below for each grade's time.
Our first annual Fall Festival is Friday, October 24, 2025 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. We would love volunteers to donate 30 minutes of their time during the event.
This is a paid event, but it's packed with value and supports our ongoing fundraising efforts to benefit our school community. We have a *NEW* discounted rate ($12 for first child, $8 for each additional child) if you purchase tickets online by Thursday, October 23. Tickets will be available for $15 at the door.
