We’re parents, teachers, and neighbors working together to make Greathouse even better for every student. Get to know the team behind this year’s PTA programs and events!
aka “Chief Organizer of Chaos ”
Vinay Kumar began his PTA journey as the Lions Tale Editor, later served as VP of Communications, VP of Programs and has volunteered for just about every odd job in between — from event support to classroom helper. He also led the Reflections arts program, helping students showcase their creativity and voices.
Now serving as PTA President, he brings heart, structure, and a vision for making things easier for families, fun for kids, and efficient for volunteers. He helped launch the Lion’s Paw Pass membership program, refreshed the PTA’s communication tools, and is working on several new initiatives — like Pops in the Park and classroom-level connection opportunities — to help parents feel more involved and build stronger bonds within grade levels.
He’s the proud parent of a 5th grade GH Lion — and is fueled by spreadsheets, student smiles, and the occasional good pun.

Cindy is mom to two GH Lions — one in 5th grade and one in 2nd — and brings her creative energy and heart to her role as VP of Programs. She loves being part of the PTA and finds joy in seeing students light up at every event. From planning special activities to helping make school memories, Cindy is all in. Outside of PTA life, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, and cheering on her daughters in dance and cheer.

Whitley is mom to Avery (1st grade) and is stepping into her role as VP of Fundraising with energy and enthusiasm! She’s excited to help raise funds that directly support student programs, teacher resources, and school-wide events — and to get more involved in the Greathouse community along the way.
When she’s not planning the next big fundraiser, Whitley is a group fitness instructor who brings the same positivity and drive into everything she does. (Yes, she probably has more energy than the rest of us combined!)

aka “Tying the Community Together (with Yarn & Kindness)”
Beth is mom to Brenlee (2nd grade) and Brady (Kindergarten), and serves as our VP of Outreach. She joined the PTA to help bring more fun, energy, and creativity to school events — and she’s already doing just that! Beth brings her skills in event planning and her love for people into everything she does. When she’s not helping families feel welcome at Greathouse, you might find her decorating cakes, crocheting gifts, or sipping a Vanilla Coke.

Tiffany is mom to Lorelai (2nd grade) and Graham (4-years-old) and serves as this year’s VP of Communications. She joined the PTA to get more involved and give back to the school community she loves. Tiffany helps keep families informed and engaged, whether it's through newsletters, flyers, or quick updates from the PTA. Outside of school, she handles bookkeeping for her family’s three local Smoothie King franchises — and in her downtime, she enjoys crocheting and getting lost in a good book.

aka “Dollar Diva”
Amanda is mom to Teagan (5th grade) and brings both heart and hustle to her role as Treasurer. She joined the PTA as a way to stay connected with teachers, staff, and other families — and found that being on the board offers a deeper understanding of how the school works behind the scenes. When she’s not crunching numbers, Amanda loves camping and spending time outdoors with her family.

There’s no job too big or too small for Mr. Ice — and that’s exactly why our students, staff, and PTA adore him. With over 27 years in education, he’s the kind of leader who shows up in full spirit: directing traffic, rallying kids in the cafeteria, MC’ing talent shows, and bringing authenticity to every school moment, he dives into all events with infectious energy, humor, and heart — making Greathouse feel like home for every student. If you follow Mr. Ice on social media (like Mr. Ice’s Class), you’ll see just how much he cares about this community. He’s always the first to say yes and the last to leave.
