Verle Emery

Verle Emery attended George Fox College from 1935 to 1939 where he served as Student Body President his senior year. He was a member of the football team, treasurer of the Men's Athletic Association, and a member of the Gold P club (a group consisting of men who had earned at least one athletic letter). Later in life, he attended Northwest Friends Church in Portland. In 1953, he served as Vice-President of the Portland Friends Brotherhood Organization and was promoted to President in 1954 and 1955.
