Ethel Newberry Yergen

Ethel Newberry Yergen attended George Fox College from 1928 to 1932. While there, she was involved in the student newspaper, The Crescent. In 1929 and 1930, she served as a contributing chapel editor for the paper before being promoted in 1931 to Associate Crescent Editor. Along with this, she also served as Student Body Vice President in 1930 and was the Undergraduate Representative for the YWCA during 1928 and 1930. She passed away in Newberg on October 17, 2003.
